Vortex This is one of those times in history where we won't be able to fathom what actually occurred for quite a while. I believe overall Americans understand and appreciate what transpired in Iraq but are relieved more then introspective about what it all means and how these events are historic.

The majority of our posts have focused on the War and issues pertaining to and surrounding what I consider to be the formal start of WWIV. The Cold War was WWIII and freedom and liberty pervailed over tyranny and fear and free market capitalism defeated totalitarian death regimes.

Mike Kelly RIP I read the Post because of Kelly, Will, Hoagland and Krauthammer. His death is a blow to readers looking for the unvarnished truth. Former CIA Director James Woolsey spoke to a UCLA student gathering the other day and hit the nail on the head. Woolsey called our War with Iraq the start of World War IV (with III being the Cold War) and touched on liberating the Middle East from mullahs, fascists and tyrannical dictators. I have to agree with this take on how administration policy has forced leaders of Arab nations to get in line with the modern world. If you were in charge of Jordan, Syria, etc. and no one called you out...why would you change? Someone is demanding it now and they are listening.
